The Rising of the Shield Hero, is a Japanese light novel series, which first aired during the Winter 2019 anime season.

The plot starts with Naofumi Iwatani, an otaku getting suddenly transported to the world of Melromarc to accomplish a mission: he is asked to defeat the Waves of Catastrophe, who are creating chaos in the world with the help of three other legendary warriors.

That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime

This is a Japanese fantasy novel series by Fuse, in which, when a man named Satoru Mikami is randomly stabbed on the street, he is reborn into another world – not as a wizard, a demon, or anything you can imagine, but as a slime! Yes, a slime with an ability to devour other creatures and absorb their power. 

Now known as Rimuru Tempestgiving, he befriends a dragon named Veldora and chooses to build community and help others, just like he tried to do through his job on Earth.
