What is Classroom of the Elite
Classroom of the Elite is a Japanese anime series adapted from the light novels titled Welcome to the Classroom of the Supreme Ability Doctrine written by Shōgo Kinugasa and illustrated by Shunsaku Tomose.
The series takes place in a world in the distant future where the Japanese government has established a special institution to educate and train students as future leaders of the country.
The story follows Kiyotaka Ayanokōji, a student in the inferior D-Class of the institution whose life changes after meeting two other students from his section.

A fellow D-Class student of Kiyotaka, Suzune is distant and closed off by nature. She has high intellectual capabilities and suspects the truth about Kiyotaka’s underlying potential. She does not believe in making and only confides in Kiyotaka. She, like him, has a depth to her personality.
Yurika Kubo as Kikyou Kushida
Almost Suzune’s opposite, Yurika maintains a cheerful demeanor beneath which hides a cold and manipulative personality. She dislikes Suzune strongly and has mysterious intentions towards her.
Ayana Taketatsu as Kei Karuizawa
One of the top performers in D-Class, she has a close bond with Kiyotaka. In the later volumes of the light novels, she is shown to have developed a crush on Kiyotaka. She too believes that Kiyotaka puts up the facade of being an underperformer despite having real potential to be in a superior class.
Masaaki Mizunaka as Kakeru Ryuuen
A C-Class student who acts like a gang leader and employs several henchmen to do his bidding. He is the series’ main antagonist.
Nao Tōyama as Honami Ichinose
One of the top performers of B-Class who is also down to earth and friendly with those of lower classes.
Rina Hidaka as Arisu Sakayanagi
The leader of A-Class and Kakeru’s rival. She is highly intelligent and is the ‘queen’ of the school.
