What is the Seven Deadly Sins?
The Seven Deadly Sins is a Japanese Fantasy Manga series illustrated and written by Nakaba Suzuki. The series was originally published in Kodansha’s Weekly Shōnen Magazine from October 2012 to March 2020.

The illustrations were then adapted into anime Television series produced by A-1 Pictures.
The Television series ran from October 2014 to June 2018.
The third season premiered in October 2019 and was by Studio Deen and it ran from October 2019 to Mar 2020, The fourth season is about to release in January 2021 which was postponed from its original premiere date which was scheduled in October 2020 due to Covid 19 pandemic.
The Seven Deadly Sins are the group of knights in the land of Britannia who are appointed to serve the Kingdom of Liones and are destined to defeat the demon clan’s Ten commandments.
They went missing after being framed in a plot against the King of Liones.
After 10 years Princess Elizabeth searches for the seven deadly sins in order to retain her throne from the corrupt Holy Knights and bring peace and prosperity to her kingdom.
After being located and reunited, there ensues a battle between Elizabeth, Fairies, the Demon Clan, Goddesses, the Holy Knights & the Sins.
It is a battle for justice and peace–like many other manga series we’ve loved in the past.
The Seven Deadly Sins Season 3 Summary
As the peace returns to the kingdom, The seven deadly sins decided to separate and start their own individual journey.
Guila falls in love with Gowther as he brainwashes her, while Daine uses Merlin’s Minimum Tablets.
This allows her to shrink in size and spends time as a normal human.
Diane also remembers and regains her past memories, which include her old encounters with the King of liones.
Later she also reunited with Matrona (her mother figure).
Meanwhile, Ban leaves for the Fairy King’s Forest with King and the Holy Knight Jericho.
As he is revealed to be the Fairy King, he moves into the forest.
In Liones, King Bartra’s Vision makes him aware of the impending danger of the Holy war at Camelot.
Then, Dreyfus appears with the Black Mark on his face.
A giant gray Albion demon appears in the Kingdom of Camelot.
This is because of the arrival of leaders of the Demon Clan.
Meliodas and the seven deadly sins in Liones start their journey to head towards Camelot to defeat the Albion.
The Demon King of Truth Galand turns Merlin to stone with his Commandment power.
Gowther manipulates his memory, in order to save Elizabeth and others. One more Albion appears in the Fairy Forest. It is here that it is revealed Ban has been supplying his blood and the fairies were taking care of Elaine’s body.
King regains his fairy family’s trust during the fight against the Albion.
Ban encounters Melascula and Galand and Galand tries to devour Ban’s soul, but the werefox Zhivago, Ban’s father-figure and mentor sacrifices himself to save Ban, and Ban succeeds in destroying Galand.
Ban and his group meet Escanor, Lion’s Sin of Pride and with the help of his Divine Axe Sacred Treasure, Ban defeats Galand and Melascula.
In the Great Fight Festival arc, Fraudrin reveals that he had seeked Hendrickson’s help the Demon Clan.
Fraudin states that Gowther is a former member of the Ten Commandments who had lost his memories and emotions.
Another big revelation is that Meliodas was the former leader of the Ten Commandments.
After Meliodas’ death, the remaining Ten Commandments take over Britannia with the Demon Clan.
The citizens oust any knights or individuals with powerful souls to the Ten Commandments for thier own safety.
The Seven Sins and the Holy Knights try their best to keep the demons from taking over.
However, Merlin returns in her real form and restores Meliodas.
In the end, it turns out that the Commandments, Zeldris of Piety, Drole of Patience, Gloxinia of Repose, and Estarossa of Benevolence, Melascula of Faith, are still alive and are threats to Britannia.
The Sins realize this and decide to stay together as they are currently not in a position to go into another battle.
The Seven Deadly Sins Season 4 plot
As of Season 3, Zeldris and the other commandments have taken control of Camelot, forcing King Arthur to go into hiding.
In season 3 Elizabeth promises that she will never leave Meliodas and their relationship will go from where we last saw them and will take a lot of twists and turns. Will Meliodas take his demon form or continue to protect Elizabeth?
The Seven deadly sins have to again unite to battle against the Demon clan as their threats of invading the kingdom is increasing.
