Violet Evergarden Season 2 Release Date, Story & Where to Watch [2021]

What is Violet Evergarden?

Violet Evergarden is a Japanese light novel series written by Kana Akatsuki and illustrated by Akiko Takase.

The light novel was published by Kyoto Animation in 2015 and imprinted in KA Esuma Bunko. The light novel has 4 volumes. 

Violet Evergarden was adapted as an animated series in 2018.

The show was directed by Taichi Ishidate and Haruka Fujita, written by Reiko Yoshida and the studio was Kyoto Animation. 

Violet Evergarden is a coming-of-age and fantasy genre based anime. The story is around Violet Evergarden’s journey of reintegrating back into society after the war is over and her search for her life’s purpose now that she is no longer a soldier.

There are about 13 episodes excluding the OVA in the series. The show describes the story of Auto Memory Dolls and we get to see Violet Evergarden’s journey.
