What is Wayne Series
Wayne is an American TV series created by Shawn Simmons and composed by Steven Argila. The TV series starred Mark McKenna, Ciara Bravo and Joshua J. Williams.
Wayne is an action comedy genre based TV series. There is 1 Season and there are about 10 episodes in the series.
The show premiered in 2019 and the story takes place in Massachusetts and revolves around a young boy, Wayne, who wanted to retrieve his father’s car back with the help of his crush, Del.

Wayne Season 2 Release Date
Wayne Season 1 finished airing in January, 2019 so no information has been provided for Wayne Season 2.
The cast is busy doing other projects like Mark McKenna who portrays Wayne is currently in the pre-production of “One of Us Is Lying”, which brought a halt to the series.
If Wayne Season 2 is to be released, you can only expect the season to be released in mid of 2022.

Currently, Wayne Season 2 is not in production because the cast is involved and working on other projects and shows, which creates a problem to shoot the show.

Wayne Season 1 Story So Far
The story starts by introducing the character Wayne, a teenager living in Brockton, Massachusetts.
Wayne has a crush on a girl named Del.
Wayne’s father dies from cancer and Wayne burns down the house with his father’s body in it and goes to meet Del and invites her on a mission to Florida to retrieve his father’s stolen car, 1979 Pontiac Trans Am back.
Del fights her family and goes with Wayne. Wayne and Del set off for their journey but ups and downs were a great risk.
For starters Wayne didn’t know where he was going which decreased trust between Wayne and Del.
The show portrays several flashbacks of Del’s life which included her dysfunctional family and their habits of alcoholism, drugs and cruelty towards each other.
Due to this Del developed a cynical behaviour towards everything in her life.
Wayne and Del constantly struggle with theft, kidnapping, money problems, mistreatment, the police and the dysfunctionalities that lead them to finding Wayne’s father’s car and Wayne’s family.
Del warns Wayne about his family and that he should not trust them but Wayne doesn’t listen to her and Del abandons him.
But later realisations make Del go back and rescue Wayne from his family but was lied to about his location. Wayne and Del realize that Wayne’s family couldn’t be trusted and try to escape.

Wayne Season 1 Ending
At the end of Wayne Season 1, Wayne is held in a police station where he realizes the severity and error of his ways.
Wayne realizes how he had mistreated Del and that he needs to catch up with her. Wayne and Del soon come to realize how Wayne’s family is not trustworthy and they needed to escape as fast they could.
They both confess their love to each other but to their horror they face a car accident. They both get separated by their families, Del is taken away by his father while Wayne’s family leaves him on the road to die.
However, an ambulance finds Wayne. In the end, Wayne is arrested and has Del’s necklace in his hand.
